00 PM Central Campus Location Reid State Technical College Position Summary The Custodian is primarily responsible for the cleaning of the buildings and grounds required for the dailly function of the College.
This position carries light maintenance duties as well.
Salary Commensurate with education and experience according to ACCS Board of Trustees Salary Schedule E4/05.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities Clean rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, stairways, and other related areas of assigned buildings.
Sweep, scrub, wax, and polish floors, using brooms, mopes, and power equipment of assigned buildings.
Empty trash containers and transport to central waste disposal for assigned area.
Replenish bathroom supplies as needed for assigned areas.
Pick up loose debris and trash around streets, parking lots, and buildings.
Make recommendations to the Maintenance Supervisor regarding cleaning or safety.
Observe safety regulations, uniform code, and all College policies.
Assist in special projects hosted by College.
Attend all job related training programs.
Work flexible schedule to include day and/or evening hours.
Demonstrate ethical behavior, loyalty, honesty, and integrity, both on and off the campus.
Participate in staff, division, and committee meetings as assigned.
Actively participate in division/college committees and campus activities.
Other related duties, as may be required by the Maintenance Supervisor, Executive Director of Financial Services and/or President.
Qualifications A minimum of high school diploma/GED certificate required.
One year experience in janitorial work desirable.

Sick Leave All regular full-time non-instructional staff earns one day of sick leave which is the equivalent of 8 hours of sick leave per month.
Unused sick leave is rolled over to the following year.

The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
