To assist members with their loan and credit card applications, process, post, and accurately route loan documentation with loan disbursals.
Responsible for opening new accounts and investments, as well as opening and managing IRA accounts.
Provide complex information and resolutions pertinent to the support of select Credit Union products and services.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND
Responsibilities:
Greets and assists members with processing requests for credit while ensuring that each application is complete, to include assessment of credit needs and the compiling of supporting documentation for the request.
Prepares applications for credit to be reviewed by the Loan Officer and follows up with Loan Officer to determine status.
Post, disburse proceeds, and prepare proper loan documentation pertinent to the loan type requested and sets up date and time to close with the member.
Ensures that loan files are accurate, complete, and error free, and have been reviewed by the approving Loan Officer before routing to appropriate recipient.
Ensure that all month end reporting has been completed.
Assists members and potential members with opening and closing Credit Union accounts, products and services.
Assures that appropriate records are maintained and required reports are prepared.
Ensure that Check Systems and SSN# is ran to eliminate the risk of opening bad accounts or an account to someone who owes the Credit Union money.
Acts as liaison between members and various organizations and departments.
Receives, processes, and authenticates member financial transactions, including but not limited to:
deposits, withdrawals, loan payments, credit card cash advances, account transfers, bond cashing, wires and western unions; sells gift cards and credit union share checks.
Accurately posts, images, and records listed transactions while properly routing, and maintaining required member records.
Welcomes members and provides complex information, support, dispute resolution and service pertinent to select Credit Union products or services.
Identifies cross sale opportunities and cross sells Credit Union financing, products, and services.
Performs a variety of miscellaneous tasks including but not limited to:
typing, filing, computer input, equipment maintenance, and answering the telephone.
Serves as Membership Officer.
Other duties as assigned.
Experience:
One year to three years of similar or related experience.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
